Doctor Heal Thyself; part two

Friday, April 20th, 2012

The greatest pressure and stress a medical professional faces is from themselves.  They have taken on the belief that they must be perfect, they can’t make mistakes, they must please everyone and know everything.  These beliefs can be generational, learned as a small child, or learned at professional school.

At some point in the professional’s career the stress of these damaging beliefs will sometimes cause the medical professional to seek a way out, either through substance abuse, leaving the world of medical practice or worse, suicide.  If the professional doesn’t seek a way out and they continue with these wrong beliefs, they get sick.

Today’s medical professional is working in a very unhappy world of medicine.  A once noble profession, where a practitioner could feel good about the services he or she has delivered has been turned upside down by the modern world.  Even though the professional has delivered the best care they can, and the desire of their heart is to help others in need, it is never good enough.

Why do I bring all of this up?  To help others understand what the medical professional of today faces.  Whether it is your own doctor, a family member, or yourself, understanding is one of the first steps in healing.  The next step in healing is taking action.  As those of us who are knowledgable about The Healing Codes know, the action is finding the heart issues and using codes to heal.

What can you do to help heal the medical professional?

  1. If you are the professional.  Take the Heart Issues finder test and begin using The Healing Codes for those issues.
  2. If the professional is a family member or your doctor, use The Healing Codes to send healing energy to them.
  3. Tell them about The Healing Codes.  The idea may be rejected, but plant the seed anyway.

“What Do The Healing Codes Heal?”

Monday, April 16th, 2012

People often write in to ask whether The Healing Codes heal this or that specific issue. One person said, I thought The Healing Codes were for healing bad beliefs and memories. Online I read about some one doing a peace code for healing mucus membranes, and some one else doing a code for skin problems. How is that?”

The Healing Codes only work on the negative images and beliefs we hold in cellular memories.

That said, we believe that those negative things are frequencies that send out stress signals to the body, and are the true source of physical issues.

Hence, when the stress signals are neutralized (healed), the physical will heal.

So even if you have a physical issue, what you really need to focus on is how you feel about that issue. That’s why you may do the Peace code for a mucus membrane symptom. If what you feel about the physical problem is anxiety, you would use a  Healing Code (either from the book or the Manual) to deal with that.

To speed your healing, you can look for other memories that have that same anxiety as you feel about the current situation. For every conscious memory you heal, there are likely a slew of unconscious ones that are healing at the same time.

If you have trouble finding earlier memories, that may be a good reason to contact a Healing Codes Coach-Practitioner. We are trained to help you find those key memories that could be the source of your problem. Often they are hidden, such as generational or very early memories. When you find them, you heal more quickly.

Remember, beneath every physical issue is the true issue–a heart issue!

(As a side note: When you read things people write about The Healing Codes online, look for the person’s credentials. The information from a Certified Healing Codes Coach-Practitioner will be the most reliable.)

Doctor heal thyself!

Monday, April 9th, 2012

Medical professionals in the U.S. are under a unique form of stress that often times goes unrecognized.  It is a stress created by the families, patients, outside parties, the professional culture and yes, even the professional him or herself.

What the medical professional faces on a daily basis are pressures from family to:

  1. provide a upper class lifestyle
  2. be present to their needs

They face pressures from patients to:

  1. make no mistakes
  2. be present to their needs

They face pressures from outside parties (like government agencies and third party payers) to:

  1. make no mistakes
  2. file scads of paperwork
  3. make medical decisions based on non medical input, such as insurance provisions or big pharma pressures

They face pressure from their own profession’s culture to:

  1. Tow the line, not think outside the box

They face their own pressures to:

  1. be perfect
  2. make no mistakes
  3. please everyone
  4. know everything

How She Cured Her Own Cancer

Saturday, April 7th, 2012

Can you really heal cancer yourself?

Thirty years ago Yvonne Chamberlain was told she had 6 weeks to live by the doctors who diagnosed black melanoma. They suggested wider incision after the biopsy and possibly taking off her leg to prevent the spread! Yvonne did not give up, nor did she submit to conventional therapies to cut or burn the cancer away. Here are some of her thoughts on how she healed her cancer, what full healing entails, and what happened when she decided to listen to the disease rather than blindly fighting it.

At first the shock hits you between the eyes and I thought “Why Me?” What have I done to deserve this? I am a mom with 3 little kids. How can I survive and do all that I do with only one leg? Can the medical profession guarantee that if they amputate that I will live, or will they just bury me with one leg missing? I was devastated.

I didn’t like the way things were in my marriage – it seemed that we lived on two different planets. I felt in overwhelm working so hard to support the family financially and I was so out of control emotionally. From my perspective I didn’t feel loved by my husband and kids. I was just the one who was supposed to be the servant to keep the whole house functioning and I didn’t feel appreciated. Self pity crept in and I began to play the game “poor little ol’ me!” Have you ever heard of it?

I didn’t go the medical road and have my leg amputated, nor did I have any chemo etc., but rather decided on a natural healing journey. In the process of the recovery I came across a book by Carl and Stephanie Simonton where they asked the question: “What is the benefit of your sickness?” I was furious to think that someone could even suggest that there could be a benefit to having cancer. But in the darkness of the night when I couldn’t sleep I began to consider if it just could be a possibility.

When that starts to happen the subconscious goes back in time to one’s childhood to ask, “As a child how did I get my needs met?” Yes, had to admit: I needed to be sick to get the love and attention that I craved from my very busy parents. It wasn’t that they didn’t love me, it is just they were on their own survival treadmill providing for the family. So the subconscious asks when you are playing the poor little ol’ me game,”How can you get this love and attention?” and so it allows your immune system to bring about the disease you subconsciously believe will get you the love and attention that you so desperately crave and need. This all happens in the subconscious – the cancer was really a “heart issue.”

And so the process of healing could begin once I identified what my needs were and how those needs could be met without resorting to sickness. My relationships with husband and family changed as I began to understand our differences in personality and love language. I had just assumed that people should have the same thoughts, perspectives and feelings as me. My faith in God was absolute and I knew that if I ran toward Him, He would be faithful to meet me.

I needed healing in spirit, soul and body. And that is what happened as I learned forgiveness, acceptance, discipline and how to appreciate and love myself as I was loved by God.

The promise I clung to was from the Gospel of John: “This sickness is not to death but that God’s Son would be glorified.” I had that written out on text cards all over the house.

Absolutely every person that I have worked with since, if they are not willing to clear the heart issues, no matter what modality of treatment they have followed will not work. Be it medical or a huge variety of alternative concepts and clinics, nothing works if the heart is holding the disease to get the benefits that the heart craves. Realize that the benefit of the sickness is at a subconscious level and the person may not realize in the beginning it is a heart issue. It’s always easier to blame something else outside of ourselves, because if I acknowledge I am responsible, then I must also claim the power to change myself through God’s help and guidance. I also believe that some kind of participation in the physical cure must be done to give the discipline of commitment to one’s own health. To get well, a person must have a reason to pay the price of change and personal growth.

To heal herself, Yvonne changed her attitudes, her thinking, her relationships, her marriage, her time management, value system, diet, exercise, nutritional supplementation. To help the many people who heard of her story and wanted to know how she healed herself, she wrote a book, Why Me? Kicking Cancer and Other Life Changing Stuff, that outlines all the steps she took in these areas.

“Cancer is not a death sentence, it is a learning experience,” she says.

Looking Carefully

Friday, April 6th, 2012

Harboring bitterness will not change the other person, but it will sure change you – and not for the better! The heaviest thing you will ever carry is a grudge. It will make you sour and miserable to be around because your only desire will be to see the guilty party punished; especially when you or someone you love is the perceived victim. What happens is this: Fear and darkness enter the picture and convinces you it is okay to harbor resentment. After all, you are only ‘protecting yourself’ from getting hurt again, right? When that happens you dig in, justify your position and get comfortable living with resentment. That is – until it destroys you! The reason this says ‘look carefully,’ is because our bitterness has many sources: like an absentee or abusive parent we cannot forgive; a nasty divorce we keep reliving; the careless words of a friend who is not even aware of their effect; the boss who passed us up for a promotion. By harboring grudges we let bitterness live rent-free in our head!

What is the answer? Forgive before the problem becomes embedded in your emotions and starts feeding off your memories. Rehearsing old hurts drives them deeper until they take root and resist all attempts to weed them out. So Make a clean break…Forgive one another quickly. And the sooner you do it the better! Remember, there’s no emotion so deeply rooted that God’s grace cannot reach down and remove it. The question today is – are you ready to let Him help you?
