Thanks-giving and Healing

Here in the U.S. we recently celebrated Thanksgiving.

It has always been one of my favorite holidays. Not only do I love the food we eat (turkey, stuffing, cranberry stuff, the spiced sweet potato dish I make, and pumpkin pie). Thanks-giving has turned my life around.

Back when I was a mother of a 4-year-old and a newborn, I suffered from a post-partem depression. (The Healing Codes were not yet discovered then.)

One of the things that got me out of that depression was gratitude.

Specifically, I began to look for at least three things daily that felt like “gifts.” Three things I could be thankful for.

Usually I found more than three. In fact, I found so many that 260 of the stories ended up in the publication of my book, Abundant Gifts. (You can find out more a

Focusing on past “gifts” or current blessings is a great thing to do when you are doing a Healing Code. Think of any time in your life when you felt appreciative of something or someone, a time when something touched you deeply. There will be healing power in that memory.

Or focus on whatever is good in your life now.

You might even take the challenge to write down at least 3 things for which you are grateful for each day. I can almost guarantee that it will change things for you.

Parenting with The Healing Codes–The Only Two Essentials

A few days ago, my youngest child celebrated her 18th birthday. In a couple of weeks, we will take her to college. My oldest child will enter his last year of college.

My child-rearing days are over. I am going through the 12 Healing Codes categories to heal any residual issues from those years to sort of “clean house” as my husband and I enter a new phase of life.

In the process, I can’t help but wish I had The Healing Codes when I was a younger parent. Knowing what I know now about “heart issues,” and after working with more than 500 clients on their heart issues, two things stand out to me as the most important things a parent can do for a child.

1. Heal your own heart issues. Children “absorb” from their parents energy and patterns from unhealed memories. One of the best gifts you can give your children is your own health and example of how to deal with the disappointments, sadness, frustration etc. of life. Let them absorb the right things: peace, love, joy, faith, goodness, humility, self-control, patience. Let them learn from your example how to forgive, live in truth, and avoid harmful actions. When you heal yourself, so much follows automatically.

(One of the greatest blessings of The Healing Codes is that when you do a Code for yourself, you can release it to those close to you. You are connected to your family energetically. This works for or against you. Let it work for you! Do Codes on your own issues, release them to your children, and all of you will heal! Here’s an article to explain how.)

2. Stock your child’s heart with plenty of “love pictures.” One of the important ways Healing Codes work is by replacing negative images with positive ones. In my coaching I always advise people to focus on a Love Picture or Truth Focus Statement. The Love Picture is actually the more powerful, because images are the “language” of the heart. When you focus on a memory in which you felt loved, secure, at peace, you generate a great deal of very positive energy to redirect back into the Healing Centers of the body.

One of the saddest aspecfs of my work is when I come across a client who cannot think of any Love Picture at all. We all should have hundreds of such memories to draw upon by the time we’re adults. So a big part of good parenting is to “stock the well” with as many good times as possible.  Of course, no parent has any control over how a child perceives their attempts at love. (There are a a couple of very good books by Dr. Gary Chapman about The Five Love Languages, one for adults and one for parents to discern their child’s love language that may help here.) By loving your child in as many ways as possible, you will provide a foundation or “base camp” to which children can return when they are temporarily stranded on an island of fear or sadness or anger.

I believe love is stronger than negative images. A few strong love pictures in your child’s heart will override a plethora of negative pictures. Scripture says, “Love covers over a multitude of sins.” Your love will cover the many times when you failed as a parent.

This is the law of grace, and it’s stronger than the law of cause and effect. At least, that’s what I’m banking on as I launch my children into the world as young adults.

Healing “Mother Issues”

Holidays like Mother’s Day are bound to stir up issues, whether you’re a mother or not.

Everyone has had a mother.

And, because no mother is a perfect mother, very likely you have “heart issues” connected to negative memories of your mother.

In addition, if you’re also a mother yourself, you may have heart issues connected to your own mothering. Again, because none of us is perfect, we can all look back on things we wish we’d done differently.

So I would like to give you a custom Healing Code for any and all negative memories you have concerning “mother issues,” whether they concern your mother or your own mothering.Unknown Object

This custom Healing Code will be good for 7 days after you begin it. Look for all memories with any kind of negative feeling in them: guilt, anger, abandonment, fear, disgust, anxiety, worry, grief, to name just a few.

Start with the strongest negative feeling. Then look for other “mom” memories with the same feelings in it. When those, say, guilt memories don’t bother you anymore, look for the next strongest feeling, the memories attached to them, and heal those with this same Healing Code. (If you don’t know how to do a Healing Code, please watch my video at to learn how to do a Healing Code. You would substitute the positions below for The Healing Code in the video.)

Here is the prayer of intention I suggest (pray at the beginning only, before you do the Code):

“Dear God, I pray that you would find, open, and heal all known and hidden negative images, unhealthy beliefs,  destructive cellular and generational memories, harmful actions, unforgiveness and wrong perceptions, whether experienced, witnessed, imagined, dreamed, inherited or absorbed, and all resulting physical issues [can name them: “especially …”], related to [issue] from [name memories] by filling me with the love, life, and light of your presence. Please also break any unhealthy soul ties, curses, vows and contracts, magnify the effectiveness of this healing to the maximum level for my highest good, at an optimal pace, and restore everything in mind, body, soul and spirit to your intended design. Thank you, Lord, for your willingness and ability to do these things.”

Here is the custom code:

  • left Adam’s apple, right temple
  • both hands jaws
  • left temple, right bridge
  • both Adam’s apple
  • left temple, right jaw
  • 5-10 minutes, 1-3x/day
  • strong for one week after you start (may last longer)

I also suggest, when you are done with this Healing Code, that you release it to your mother (if still living) and any children you might have, after each session. Simply say, “I release the full effects of this healing to [name(s)], in love, insofar as this issue affects them.”

The healing will continue to those affected by your issue. We are connected energetically to those we are close to, so we can use that to spread the healing (one of the wonderful things about The Healing Codes).

Storms, Triggers and Tuning Forks

Diane Eble, Certified Healing Codes PractitionerWhen something happens in your outer world, it can rock your inner world in unexpected ways.

That’s what we call “getting triggered.”

Anything can be a trigger, but certain events and times of the year can be triggers to many people.

For instance, Superstorm Sandy triggered all sorts of things for clients. I have a whole family who had a experienced a car accident years ago. The suddenness of Sandy triggered memories of the accident, which made it even more difficult for the family to weather the actual storm.

For many in the United States, the last election triggered a lot of anxieties and fears about the future. For those who came from a dysfunctional family, any number of issues could have been triggered, either before or after the election.

For people living in politically unstable regions, if instability was part of their growing up experience, the current situation will be amplified by the unhealed memories of the past that are being triggered.

The holidays inevitably trigger bad memories for many, which is why… Read More→

A Time for Miracles

Vonnie, a pianist and one of my clients, shared with me an incredible true story that happened to her the week before Christmas. I thought it was perfect for the holiday season. After all, this is a time when we reflect on the miracles in the Christmas and Hanukkah stories.

For years I have almost been crippled with this stabbing sensation of fear just before going on stage to perform. Even though the concerts with my group usually went well, I was a complete wreck inside before and all during the performances. No one ever had a clue how much I was suffering & would often tell me I appeared completely professional on stage.

A couple of weeks ago, I had been working on the custom Healing Code Diane gave me for the fear of making mistakes in a performance. I had not had a lot of time for practicing for this particular performance and was quite stressed about it, but the night of, by some miracle (thank you God through the Healing Codes), I actually felt calm and prepared.

However, I was not prepared for what happened at the end of the concert.

As I usually do, I had brought a light from home to attach to the piano so that I could read the music. A couple of measures into the last number, there was a loud boom and the building went completely pitch black—except for my tiny light over the piano. Believe me I was thanking God sooo much, as it would have been impossible for me to continue playing with the chorus as they kept singing. I did not know this piece by memory.

Eventually, after the number was over, the lights came back on. I later learned that a transformer had blown.  The stage manager came over to my side of the stage to check out all the wiring. I told him I was so thankful that my light stayed on when the building went dark. He asked what I meant. I told him again. He said that was impossible. I asked why and his response was that my light was on the same circuit as all the other lights in the building.  He also showed me that the outlet my light was plugged into was not a battery operated outlet.

I cried out with JOY—it was GOD!!!!  It was the power of GOD that kept my light on as I played that last piece!!!  I’ve never had anything quite like that occur in my entire life. It was like God was showing me He was and is my ultimate power source, even in the midst of something that might seem so insignificant to others—a school concert performance!  I cried happy tears all the way home that night!

Thanks, Vonnie! What a reminder that the Light that broke into the world 2000 years ago still shines today for each of us. What might happen when that Light breaks through your heart issues?
